eBay – Those evil friends !

I’ve posted a few things on eBay recently. One item is a Framed picture of Chicago. A feature of eBay enables prospective buyers to ask questions to sellers. One of my friends at work thought it might be a good idea to ask some questions related to the item. The first question didn’t raise any issues to me

Question 1

“This is great! Is it an original ? I’ve always wanted one.”

Answer 1

“It isn’t an original photograph. It is a print that I purchased whilst being in chicago and framed in the uk. ”

Question 2

“One wouldn’t want to hang a imation on ones wall would one. Could you post the item to Chicago ?”

Answer 2

The frame itself is worth hanging in ones room – Quality Wood. As for delivery to Chicago, I would only consider a local pickup(Stevenage, UK). I’m sure you could get a bargin flight from Chicago to Heathrow, London. I think you may need to update your profile as you are based in London ?”

Then the bomb dropped on the final question. Yes, I was framed !

Question 3

“Ah yes my profile does indeed indicate my humble abode to be London, but alas I’m
presently on assignment in Chicago. Go Da Bears!! What kind of Quality Wood is the
frame by the way ? From the photograph it looks like it may be agarwood? Man I’d be
clapping my hands if it was!! (Loved your joke about the bargain flights!!!)”

Just in case you want to buy a framed Chicago picture go to ebay !
