As I work in London I was amused when I noticed these elephants in Green Park. Around 260 painted elephants are located in London and are worth looking at. I’ve taken a picture above of one that exists on St James Street.
The Elephant Parade London celebrates the beauty of the magnificent Asian elephant. And this year – with 260 painted elephants in locations across London – it is the biggest and most beautiful outdoor art event the city has ever seen.
The elephants are on the streets of London from May until July, and are attracting an estimated audience of 25 million, raising a projected £2 million and benefiting 20 conservation charities in the UK alone. Visit Elephant Parade London 2010.
