Well hello readers.
I hope to engage you in what will be a running blog of my race of the year, The Dambuster. My knowledge of the dambuster isn’t the best but I love the film and my motivation when in pain will be memorising the dambuster music.
Well how did I get to enter this race ?
It was a mixture of things, discussions with Steve and Jinxy last year on how they have enjoyed the race,...

Raced today in Fred Hughes 10 in St Albans the weather was kind (windy at times) and no rain or ice to report after Buntingford being called due to weather. The race went well for me as I managed a PB at the distance at 01:01:58 beating my previous record by a minute and a half. Helen Decker (GB Marathon Runner) also ran. Well the first triathlon of the season and a very cold start. The weather was 10 degrees celcius but apparently the water was 14 degrees – what a bonus. The swim was not the best and although I picked a good line I got beaten up a bit and didn’t swim to plan. My stroke was a bit of a mess, the exit was good and I managed a quick change and run to the bike. Here again I wasn’t...
